Foreigners including Filipinos can apply for COVID-19 insurance in leading Thai banks. Here are some posts of our kababayan who were able to get the said insurance at Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) and Government Savings Bank (GSB).
Requirements are just passport and work permit. Other Filipinos who availed insurance said their dependents (Non-O) were also allowed to apply. COVID-19 insurance cost is ranging from 150 baht to 1,300 baht. Many of our kababayan are going to SCB and GSB banks.
GSB Bank COVID-19 Insurance Policy
1. 150 baht
10,000 baht for hospitalization
In case of death 100,000 baht will go to your beneficiary.
2. 250 baht
50,000 baht for hospitalization
In case of death 100,000 baht will go to your beneficiary.
3. 450 baht
50,000 baht for hospitalization
In case of death 500,000 baht will go to your beneficiary.
4. 850 baht
100,000 baht for hospitalization
In case of death 1,000,000 baht will go to your beneficiary.
