At least three Thailand-based OFWs who traveled back to their home provinces have been ordered to home quarantine. Two of them were even visited by their barangay health worker while the other one voluntarily showed up to report at his barangay’s health office.
These OFWs contacted PinoyThaiyo to relay what happened. Two of them are now in Aklan while the other one is in Oriental Mindoro.
The OFWs from Aklan also encourage other OFWs who went back for a vacation in the Philippines to inform their barangay and undergo a 14-day home quarantine. According to them, after 14 days of being quarantined and they test negative to Covid-19 virus, the Barangay Health Office will give a certificate which can be used when they travel back to the country where they work which in their case is Thailand.
