Thailand marks 30 days of no new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases

Thailand’s government said on Wednesday that it had discovered one new case of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

The only case reported is a repatriate from the Philippines.

This marks one month (or 30 days) of no new locally transmitted case in Thailand.

The new discoveries bring the total number of cases up to 3,157.

There were no new fatalities leaving the death toll at 58.

Three more patients have recovered from the virus with the total number of discharged patients now at 3,026.

73 patients remain in hospitals.
