Some of Thailand’s top universities have cancelled classes this week.
Chulalongkorn and Mahidol universities, each with a confirmed case of Covid-19 infection, began suspending classes on Monday while Kasetsart University took the same action as a precautionary measure.
Also on Sunday, Thammasat University President Associate Professor Kesini Withunachat announced the cancellation of all classes for at least one week, saying in a statement that they plan to resume classes again next week.
