UPDATE: PAL cancels May 5 & 19 MNL-BKK-MNL flights

Philippine Airlines (PAL) has cancelled its Manila-Bangkok-Manila flights on May 5 & 19, based on emails received by PinoyThaiyo during the weekend.

The next available Bangkok-Manila flight that remains unchanged is May 12. PAL flights have been suspended since March 24 because of the worsening COVID-19 situation in the Philippines.

PinoyThaiyo will be providing more details and proper advice on Monday when the PAL Thailand office opens. You may also email ticket@palbkk.com or message Pinoythaiyo on LINE (pinoythaiyo) for rebooking and other ticket related assistance.

As a marketing partner of PAL Thailand office, we sincerely apologize for all these inconveniences.

Update on repatriation flight request

The emails sent by PinoyThaiyo to the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok, Urgent Request for Assistance on Getting COVID-19 Test Allocation for Thailand-based Filipino Passengers on April 1, and Urgent Request for Repatriation Flight Bangkok-Manila on April 12 remain unanswered, except the generic email acknowledgement response.

PinoyThaiyo will be sending another follow-up email to the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok and other relevant Government agencies hoping they would respond quickly in providing assistance to stranded Filipinos, many of whom have already lost their jobs and apartment rentals.

PAL Thailand office has already offered and assured assistance to all affected passengers in case a repatriation flight is approved.
