Philippine President Rody Duterte’s visit in Thailand has been confirmed though the actual date has been withheld for security purposes.
Duterte will personally pay respects to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej whom he called a “guiding hand behind the emergence of Thailand as one of the most progressive countries in the whole of Asia”.
Duterte will head to Grand Palace where the King’s body currently rested. The president will leave right after signing the book of condolences.
Meanwhile, the president will have his meet and greet with the Filipino community on his next visit to the Kingdom.
