PinoyThaiyo was invited to a dinner and food tasting event of VIVA FILIPINAS restaurant which will open on June 12.
VIVA FILIPINAS is owned by Filipina businesswoman Mrs Zenaida Vannaying and her family. They also own the newly-opened Lola’s Kitchen.
The new restaurant is located on the 4th floor of AKARA Hotel Bangkok, an 18-storey 5-star boutique hotel in Pratunam area. It can also serve as a venue for events such as birthdays, meetings, anniversaries and other celebrations.
The managers, chefs and wait staff are mostly Filipinos. They cater variety of foods to everyone who wishes to experience and have a taste of authentic Filipino cuisine.
The interior also resembles that of the famous Manila Hotel with wooden walls, doors and ceiling coated with varnish and wood tiles which are commonly used in the Philippines.
