The Philippines’ most recognizable name in women’s volleyball will be playing with 3BB Nakornnont for the second round of the 12th season of Thailand Women’s Volleyball League.

Alyssa Valdez, a multi-awarded athlete and is considered one of the best volleyball players in the Philippines today has signed with Thai volleyball club 3BB Nakornnont in December last year. She arrived in Thailand on Sunday evening to prepare for the upcoming league.

Valdez is the first Filipina to ever play abroad as an import for another country’s top league.
