Department of Airports Director General Ampawan Wannako 404,773 passengers to flock 25 airports around Thailand for the Songkran holidays on April 11-17. That is an estimated of 57,000 plus passengers a day.
Domestic flights projections this year is at 365,891 up from last year’s 347,423 while an estimated of 38,882 international passengers are expected to join Songkran festivities higher than last year’s 33,476.
2,223 flights are scheduled during the Songkran season.
