Popular international travel website TripAdvisor has included 5 beautiful spots in Thailand as Asia’s most loved destinations of 2017. The list is sorted out through quantity and quality of travellers’ reviews and ratings done on its website over the span of 1 year.
The southern islands of Phuket, Koh Samui and Koh Tao, including Thailand’s capital Bangkok and the adventurous mountains of Chiang Mai are listed in the Top 25 of the Best Destinations in Asia for 2017. Phuket ranked 3rd with Koh Samui and Koh Tao took 7th and the 15th spot while Bangkok and Chiang Mai came closely at 8th and 12th spots respectively.
Phuket is actually ranked 10th for Best in the World due to its “blue lagoons and salmon sunsets”, while Koh Samui is flocked by tourists due to its local culture and fishing communities. Koh Tao on the other hand was reviewed by TripAdvisors as a paradise with “300 days of sun per year”.
