The Philippine Government mourns the death of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. HM the King passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Siriraj Hospital.
Here is the statement of the Philippines’ Department of Foreign Affairs sent through the Philippine Embassy in Thailand.
STATEMENT ON THE PASSING OF HIS MAJESTY KING BHUMIBOL ADULYADEJ OF THAILAND
“The Philippine Government wishes to convey its sincerest condolences to the Kingdom of Thailand and to its people on the demise of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
His Majesty is such a Father of the Nation, whom the Thai people revered and loved dearly. He will surely be missed. We are one with the Royal Family, the Thai Government, and the Thai nation during this period of deep mourning.”
