In investment, we only receive yield once it matures. In most banks, you will not get the full amount if you withdraw on a pre-termination basis. If we would apply this into any relationship, be ready to harvest once we mature, or we do not get the whole part of ourselves back.

We invest so much in different types of relationships. We value people based on the time we have spent with them, the intensity of emotion that we shared with the person and even the value of the changes that we have gone through in order to accommodate their needs.

What we need to understand is that the moment we give ourselves to any form of commitment, we should not expect to get our whole selves back. Over time, we change to accommodate the needs of our loved ones, we stretch our patience, and we capsulize each memory trying to place one single moment in our nerve.

Be ready to multiply. Most investors would say not to put all your eggs in one basket. This seems true, we should learn to invest not just in one aspect of our lives. In sharing, we multiply ourselves. In participating to improve our lives we do not get discouraged with a single disappointment.

Savage emotions would haunt you if you are greedy in asking people to invest in you just the same way you do for them. Increase your value. Invest in you. Plead for mercy. We could not increase ourselves. Over the years, it could be revealed to us that only God could supply all the void in us. 1 Chronicles 16:11 reminds us to Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always.
