It is now a viral story on social media that a Chinese man has tricked men into sexual acts after videos of their sexual encounter has spread online.
The 38-year old man from Nanjing, China, has been arrested after his secretly recorded videos of his sexual encounters were circulated online.
In an article posted by the South China Morning Post (SCMP), the man, surnamed Jiao, who is now known online as “Nanjing Uncle Red”, has installed a hidden camera inside his accommodation. These video clips are then shared online for profit from a 150 yuan membership fee. Jiao’s victims reportedly saw themselves in the leaked videos and reported him to the police.
The report also adds that there are about 1,691 different men in the videos, but police investigation said that the number was just blown out for exaggeration.
“Nanjing Uncle Red” wears heavy make-up, wigs and long skirts. He also wears a mask to conceal his face and fakes his voice to lure the men. Some men actually realised that he was cross-dressing. He did not charge the men for the encounters, but only asked them to bring small gifts. Social media were quick to “memefy” the story as some men brought him milk, fruits and even a bottle of cooking oil.
Under Chinese laws, the distribution of pornographic materials carries a maximum sentence of two years in prison. Additional charges may be filed for violation on privacy and image rights of the individuals involved.
