River City Bangkok (RCB) Film Club is inviting everyone to join and watch the screening of a Greek film, “Include Women Out” (“Me Horis Gynaikes”), by Vangelis Seitanidis, on Saturday, March 24, 4pm, at Room 201, River City Bangkok, Chareon Krung 24, Talad Noi, Samphanthawong, Bangkok.
The story revolves around two friends, Cousteau and Rico, who go on a road trip in order to reconnect with a schoolmate, Nadia, who was the prettiest woman in school and was chased around by young men, but now, has entered the convent. Both Cousteau and Rico is puzzled by Nadia’s decision so they decided to meet her and investigate themselves.
Rico is a high-ranking civil servant who is married and has a family who loves him, but he has a “glad eye and is always philandering”. Cousteau, on the other hand, is a failed businessman who is going through a low phase, who does not want to reconnect with his own mother.
During the course of the movie, it opens up the good and bad side of both of them. It became an opportunity for the two friends to discuss their personal issues, as well as their societal stand for their country.
The film portrays how the road trip and their deep conversations bring change in the outlook of both friends, according to Director Vangelis Seitanidis, there is a scope for “miracles at the end of the movie.”
The screening of “Include Women Out” is endorsed and supported by Embassy of Greece in Bangkok. His Excellency Greek Ambassador Pericles Boutos will introduce the film. Snacks and refreshments will be served shortly after screening.
