Who are the Philippines’ richest senators?

Two years after she got elected to the Philippine senate, Senator Cynthia Villar remained on top of the country’s upper chamber’s rich list with almost P2 billion in assets and no liabilities.

Her statement of assets, liabilities, and net worth (SALN) for 2014 shows a net worth of P1,983,480,135. Villar has consistently topped the list of wealthiest senators since she assumed office in 2013.
