The Association of Filipinos in Thailand (AFT) is hosting the 119th Philippine Independence Day celebration on June 10, 2017 at S32 Hotel Sukhumvit in Bangkok.
AFT is also inviting the Filipino community to join. Ticket is 1,000 baht which includes dinner buffet, ballroom and raffle draws.
The event which falls on a Saturday will start from 6:00 pm until midnight. At least 200 guests are expected to attend. Dress code is Filipiniana for ladies and barong or formal dress for men.
As a sign of respect to the Thailand’s beloved late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok opted not to host any celebration at the embassy grounds during the one-year mourning period.
