Philippine volleyball superstar Alyssa Valdez will have her first game at the second round of the 12th season of Women’s Volleyball Thailand League 2016 – 2017 on January 29, 2017 at Jhantarubheksa Stadium inside the Royal Thai Air Force Headquarters in Don Muang. Valdez will play as outside hitter of 3BB Nakornnont.
Valdez’s new team, 3BB Nakornnont is a female professional volleyball team based in Nonthaburi. It was founded in 2011 and plays in the Thailand league. It ranks 4th (4-3) in the first leg of this season’s tournament.
Meanwhile, Valdez is one of the five foreign players from other teams who are joining the said tournament.
Also known as The Phenom of Philippine volleyball, Valdez safely arrived in Bangkok on Sunday night to begin preparations for her stint in the Thai league later this month. According to the 3BB Fanclub, January 17 is Valdez’ first day of training with her new team.
Her team will play against King-Bangkok on her first game on January 29. Tickets range from 100-300 baht. Ticket centers will be updated soon.
