Philippine Ambassador to Thailand Mary Jo A. Bernardo-Aragon, together with other embassy representatives, visited the Charoen Pokphand Food (CPF) Public Co. Ltd. in Saraburi, particularly the chicken processing plant, as posted on the Philippine Embassy’s website last February 12.
CP has already engaged in aquaculture and agriculture businesses in the Philippines and this time, the officials from CP provided the delegation a briefing on CP’s corporate profile, its corporate social responsibility and background for its chicken processing plant. The Philippine delegates were given a corridor tour of the chicken slaughter house and a separate one for the processing plant. Embassy officials were also given the chance to visit the plant’s Research and Development Center.
The Philippine delegation was assisted by CPF Global Quality Management Center and Global Standards Systems Center Senior Vice President Dr. Sombat Thiratrakoolchai, Senior Vice President of CPF-Food Processing Poultry Business in Saraburi, Mr. Chatree Rachatasomboon, with Vice President Mr. Thongchai Sukpattananikul.
