An investigation is being conducted by authorities about an alleged attack by an “aswang” which camouflaged itself as a big black cat and transformed into a seemingly human form.

Four victims were reported to have been bitten by the unidentified creature. The incident has started to cause alarm and terror to the locals of Barangay Tapodoc, Aleosan, Cotabato, Philippines.

According to a television source, the incident happened on Wednesday, May 27, 2015.

Victims said they saw a big black cat entered their house and suddenly transformed into an almost human form and started attacking them by biting on the different parts of their bodies.

The residents sought the help of the Barangay Peacekeeping Action Team but the “aswang” has already escaped.
