Calling All Comedians!
Bangkok Hilarious & Signal Flair present: “Stand-up Bangkok”.
Thailand’s 1st ever Annual International Comedy Competition is about to hit the “Land of Smiles” with the ambitious goal of changing it into the “Land of Laughs” one punchline at a time. And we invite all the comedians to join the biggest English Stand-up Event Thailand has ever seen.
Agenda:
10 contestants will compete for the top three finalists spot on an amazing 2-night event where the audience and three judges will vote for the best.
Prizes:
1st place: US$ 500, an all-paid holiday in the beautiful City of Phuket, and a tour in Thailand headlining with another professional comic. (There is also potential booking in other countries in SEA with our partner groups)
2nd place: US$ 300, an all-paid holiday in the beautiful City of Phuket, and a tour in Thailand as a feature with a pro comedian in Bangkok and Phuket.
3rd place US$ 100, and a featured spot on a showcase in Bangkok.
Dates:
Friday, December 11th, 9pm.
Round 1: Preliminary set, 10 contestants doing 6 minutes sets.
Saturday, December 12th, 9pm.
Round 2: Semi-finals, 5 contestants doing 8 minutes sets
Round 3: Finals, 3 finalists doing 10 minutes set.
