In response to the physical assault and exploitation charges of alias Peem, Bangkok University has now expelled more students who are involved in the supposed to be LGBTQ+ gang in the university.
According to a news posting by The Nation, Bangkok University, through a third statement on Tuesday, confirms that all members seen in a viral social media clip assault are now expelled from the university.
Previously, the university had dismissed the gang leader, Rasipa/Peem, 22 years old, and his associate, Chakatpol/Oshi, 19, after the pouring of hot soup incident on February 20.
The administration has reviewed another clip showing a junior university student being assaulted in the university’s car park, where his hair was forcibly cut. The university’s statement adds that such actions were clear violations of the law and inflicted both physical and psychological harm, thus the decision to expel all involved.
Although not mentioned or named in the statement, it is believed that the additional expelled students were the 8 other students arrested on Monday night, who were with Peem and Oshi on the night of the attacks.
The Nation has put out their names as:
Dolathee aka Paul, 21
Waranya aka Bam, 21
Kanyapat aka Pimgel, 21
Oomboon, 21
Noppakhun, 21
Paradorn aka Ice, 21
