With the approval of the Department of Transportation (DOTr)., Bukidnon Airport will soon rise in Maraymaray, Don Carlos in Bukidnon.
A Notice to Proceed was recently given to its contractor- Unimasters Conglomeration Incorporated and 360 days were allocated for the site development, with the amount of P272,018,756, a report said.
The airport is set to be completed in 2022 and will be serving Bukidnon and the nearby provinces of North-Central Mindanao such as North Cotabato, Davao del Norte, Maguindanao, Lanao del Sur and Davao del Sur.
