The Songkran party on Khao San Road and activities in two neighbouring communities have been cancelled this year to prevent the possible spread of coronavirus disease
Pattaya City is the latest major city to cancel Songkran festival celebrations.
“This year, Patong will not hold any official Songkran festival celebration events at all.”
People have also been asked not to throw water as a COVID-19 precaution.
