Filipina student tries extending her visa in Korat told to return on July 31 to get more extension

A Filipina student who has been stranded in Thailand due to the ban on international commercial flights went to the local Immigration office in Nakhon Ratchasima on Friday afternoon and was told by the Immigration officer to come back on July 31 and she will be given one more month extension, the pinay UP student shared to PinoyThaiyo.

The University of the Philippines (UP) student is in Thailand to visit her family when the state of emergency was implemented banning international commercial flights.

The local Immigration officer also advised her to wait for the government announcement. One month (30 days) visa extension from July 31 costs 1,900 baht.

She was also told that extension might be for another three more months.
