Second BKK-MNL Special Chartered Flight on July 5 at Suvarnabhumi Airport

The Second Special Chartered Flight from Bangkok to Manila will be on July 5, Sunday with Philippine Airlines, the country’s flag carrier. 

PR733 will depart from Bangkok on Sunday 10:55PM (ETD) at Suvarnabhumi International Airport. Estimated time of arrival is July 6, 3:15AM (Manila time).

Philippine Airlines and Bangkok Vista Holiday Co., Ltd. will start issuing the tickets on Friday evening. Passengers are advised to be at the airport at least four hours before the flight.

Both the Philippine and Thai governments granted permits and clearances for the said special chartered flight which was supported by the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok.

The first special chartered flight was on June 22 via Philippine AirAsia.

Meanwhile, the quarantine procedures in Manila are as follows:

  1. Mandatory COVID-19 test (OWWA pays for OFWs, self-payment for those who are non-OFWs);
  2. Mandatory quarantine to await result of COVID-19 test (OWWA pays for quarantine for OFWs, self-payment for non-OFWs or possible free quarantine at a ship managed by the Philippine Coast Guard); and
  3. If COVID-19 test is negative, repatriates can go home. Those living in the provinces can already book a flight or ship home. If positive, repatriates will be admitted in a DOH managed facility.

Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) will pay for the COVID-19 test, accommodation and food of OFW repatriates. OFWs need to register at http://oasis.owwa.gov.ph and Red Cross https://e-cif.redcross.org.ph before their flight.
