Two Filipino visual artists participated in the 11th International Visual Arts Workshop and Exhibition hosted by the Poh Chang Academy of Arts and Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin from January 14 to 22, 2016.
Alfred Marasigan of Ateneo de Manila University and Nomar Miano of the the University of San Carlos in Cebu were the only Filipinos present at the workshop. They are both visual artists and educators.
The two also said they wanted to learn more about Thai culture and arts such as production, consumption, distribution, and education.
