Congratulations to Filipino graduate student Ray Anthony L. Almonares for winning the Best Paper Award from Malaysian Finance Association Conference 2020.
Almonares was one the three recipients of the Best Paper Award out of around 100 presenters from different countries. His paper also landed in the top 10 best papers which will be published on Capital Markets Review. He also received MYR 1,000 as cash prize.
Other than being a PhD student at Thammasat University, kabayan Ray is also an Assistant Professor in Finance (on study leave) at De La Salle University in Manila.
Early this year, Ray along with other Filipino executives gave a lecture on the Philippine business environment at the ASEAN Economic Community II class of the GEMBA Program of Thammasat University.
