Sharing his more than ten years of public speaking experience, most of which emerging champion in international Toastmasters events, Thailand-based Filipino public speaker and educator Arnie Aniel launched his first book entitled “You Can Be A Champion Too”.
The book launch was held on October 29 in Modena by Fraser, Bangkok.
Aniel was born in Manila and the youngest in the family. He has been living in Thailand for over 20 years. He is a visiting lecturer at PIM (Panyapiwat Institute of Management in their International College) teaching Public Speaking, Management and Psychology at Work, and as speaker/lecturer at Silpakorn University and Eastern Asia University.
Kabayan Arnie Aniel has been a public speaker for more than ten years and has been a champion in area and division speech contests organized through Toastmasters events. He was the District 97 Champion in 2015, 2017 and 2019 international speech contest (Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar). He was also a semi-finalist in the world championship of public speaking in the USA in 2015 and in Canada in 2017.
“You Can Be A Champion Too” is a public speaking journal with the intention to share my experiences and everything I have learned in public speaking.
There are ten chapters where readers will not just read but will do some activities. The bonus part of the book is the testimonial of Ms Jinda Teerabulkul who is the Champion of International Speech Contest 2020 in District 97 (Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos) who I mentored on her championship journey.
Launched on 29 October 2020 in Modena by Fraser and attended by Toastmasters, friends and colleagues from Austria, Australia, Cambodia, England, France, India, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand.
“Writing this book is a dream come true since I am not a writer but a speaker. There’s a part of me that always tells me that I am going to write a book someday and now it’s a reality,” shares Aniel on PinoyThaiyo.
