Free jazz concert in honor of the late King Bhumibol at EmQuartier

A jazz concert to honor the late His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej is now showing until December 11, 2016 at EmQuartier Mall, Bangkok. Admission is free.

The concert aims to celebrate the king’s musical legacy, said the Tourism Authority of Thailand. The said concert has started on Monday, November 29, and will run for almost two weeks.

“His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej had a passion for Jazz and was an accomplished musicial, he played saxophone alongside legend Benny Goodman and wrote songs for Broadway musicals,” TAT added.

Dubbed as “The Royal Musical Legacy”, the concert is from 10:30 am to 8:00 pm. The musical selections include songs written by the late King Bhumibol himself.

Bangkok residents and tourists are all welcome.
