GMA’s iJuander features Pinoy teacher and chef in Thailand

A pinoy teacher and chef in Nonthaburi was featured at GMA’s iJuander’s “Thailand Merienda Challenge” this week.

In the video, Teacher Denmar  Dela Cruz was tasked with finding Thai delicacies that are similar to those in the Philippines. Denmar, the owner of Dina’s Pagkaing Pinoy has been making Filipino delicacies and sells them on weekends to his Filipino friends and customers. 

Teacher Denmar has been teaching in Thailand for three years now under Ramkhamhaeng University Nonthaburi Project. During the pandemic, the livelihood of many Filipino teachers in Thailand have been heavily affected as schools and learning centers shut in an effort to stop the spread of the virus.

He is from Puerto Princesa City in Palawan.
