Higher terminal fees coming September 2025

Higher terminal fees are expected this September 2025 as the New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation (NNIC) has confirmed new rates in terminal fees.

In a Spot.ph article, domestic terminal fees will now be P390 pesos from its previous P200. While international passengers will now be shouldering P950 from P550. Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) will still be exempted from paying international departure fees.

This increase is said to be the first in 20 years.

The San Miguel Corporation backed NNIC, who has taken over NAIA’s management and operations since September 2024, is pushing for its P170.6-billion rehabilitation plan to improve overall infrastructure and passenger experience in the country’s main gateway.

According to Department of Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista, while the increase is expensive for most travellers, NAIA’s terminal fee stands as one of the cheapest in the world. He adds that other local airports under private management like Mactan-Cebu International Airport and Clark International Airport, have been charging P750 for their international flights.

The NNIC, however, said that they have no hand in setting the fee adjustments as the fee was pre-determined by the DOTr using global standards.
