A 65-year old grandmother from Cavite was the latest victim of ‘laglag bala’ modus operandi at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

A 65-year old grandmother from Cavite was the latest victim of ‘laglag bala’ modus operandi at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
Mrs. Gloria Dumaoal Ortinez appealed for help after she was not allowed to board her flight and instead was brought to NCR Headquarters of PNP Aviation Security Group.
The fare is only 20 pesos each ride per person. There is a one-hour interval between travels. The first trip is at 5:00am and ends at 10:00pm.
The modus of this group is to find travelers who basically missed the airport shuttle bus from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3.
The Bureau of Immigration (BI) revealed that some 40 Filipinos a few of which are Bangkok bound get offloaded at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal-1 each day for various reasons.
