Led by Honorary Consul Agkarajit Phanomvan na Ayudhya, the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of the Philippines in Chiang Mai has joined the annual LANNA EXPO 2018 on June 22 to July 1, 2018.
The Philippine booth for Chiang Mai World Fair at LANNA EXPO 2018 showcased wood carvings by Dante Valdellon, a Filipino artist who has been living in Chiang Mai for over 40 years. Philippine Airlines (PAL), the country’s flag carrier and LMS Jiaogulan, producer of herbal tea also joined the expo.
Upon his visit, Thailand Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Wisanu Kruea-ngarm was greeted by the Honorary Consul where he introduced Philippine Airlines General Manager Aileen M. Santos, Filipino Community in Chiang Mai Vice President Ma. Victoria Nimmanahemin and LMS Jiaogulan owner Leticia Smithapindhu.
