It’s a long weekend from July 27 to 30 as Thailand celebrates Asarnha Bucha Day and His Majesty the King’s birthday, respectively.
Asarnha Bucha Day, Buddhist Lent also known as Asalha Puja or Dhamma Day will be celebrated on July 27 (Friday).
Meanwhile, July 30 (Monday) is the substitution for HM King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun’s birthday and Khao Phansa Day . July 28 is the actual birthdate of the King. However, if it falls on a weekend, the holiday will be observed on the following Monday.
The Philippine Embassy in Bangkok will also close from July 27 to 30.
