There have been many reports of Filipinos who get offloaded at the immigration while travelling as tourists. In 2015 alone, it was reported that at least 40 Filipinos, some of them were Bangkok bound got offloaded every day.
Here are some tips on how you could fly out of the country without any glitches at the immigration and continue your travel itinerary.
Paano maiiwasang ma-offload sa airport kung bibiyahe bilang turista?
Lehitimo dapat ang lahat ng DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS na ipapakita sa Immigration Officer. Dapat din ay maging tapat sa lahat ng sasabihin o idedeklara sa mga Immigration Officer.
Primary Inspection
Passport (valid for at least six months)
Round trip tickets
Visa (when required)
Secondary Inspection
Mga dokumentong nagpapatunay ng EDAD, EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT at FINANCIAL CAPABILITY para makabiyahe.
Kung HINDI financially capable para bumiyahe, magpakita ng:
- Authenticated affidavit of support na may kasamang supporting documents or affidavit of undertaking / guarantee
Sino ang kailangang sumailalim sa secondary inspection?
- Mga bibiyahe na walang financial capability para mag-travel, na may kasamang foreigner na ‘di naman kaano-ano
- Menor de edad na bibiyahe ng walang kasamang magulang o guardian, at walang travel clearance mula sa DSWD
- Repatriated irregular worker (‘di makakabiyahe ng walang clearance mula sa IACAT)
- Partners o asawa ng foreign nationals na makikipagkita o/at magpapakasal nang walang CFO Guidance and Counseling Certificate
- Mga bibiyahe sa mga bansa kung saan may deployment ban, nakataas na alert level, o travel advisories — may visa man o wala
- Mga bibiyahe papunta sa isang bansa kung saan dati na silang bumiyahe bilang tourist/temporary visitor, at nananatili roon nang mahigit isang taon
