JobStreet.com ranks Information Technology (IT) sector as the highest paid employees in the Philippines.
This ranking was according to the “Salary Report and Job Trends Initial Data” released by the same job website. IT professionals receive a monthly salary of P35,034 for junior executives and P68,723 average for supervisors. This rate is due to the difficulty and hardships undergrads undergo in order to attain the degree according to JobStreet.com Country Manager Philip Gioca.
Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) still remains the most employable sector with 38% of the total workforce. Advertising/Media Planning also makes the cut at rank 10 with a monthly salary of P24,314 for its junior executive positions.
