The family of Kenneth Chaplen Carinhay Sagubay has asked for help in order to repatriate his body to the Philippines.
Sagubay, 31, died in a motorcycle accident early Sunday in Pattaya. He was driving a motorcycle around 3 in the morning when he hit a coconut in the middle of the road. His body had flown out of the motorcycle and hit a concrete post. His body is now at the Police General Hospital for autopsy.
Sagubay has two young children. His wife who works as teacher in Soi Pridi Banomyong is also five-month pregnant for their third child. Before his death, Sagubay worked as a butcher at Big-C shopping center in Pattaya.
The family has already coordinated with the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok and is now waiting for the approval of their request for assistance.
