Netflix’s new series to feature Cebu’s street food

From the creators of “Chef’s Table” comes a new nine-part series “Street Food” featuring local culinary masterpieces. The show is set to be shown on Netflix on April 26 which jives with the Philippines’ first celebration of the Filipino Food Month this month of April.

Last year, Presdident Rodrigo Duterte signed Proclamation No. 469 declaring the month of April every year as the “Buwang ng Kalutong Pilipino or Filipino Food Month.

Other than the Philippines, the new Netflix series also celebrates street food in Bangkok, Thailand; Osaka, Japan; Delhi, India; Yogyakarta, Indonesia; Chiayi, Taiwan; Seoul, South Korea; Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; Singapore; and Cebu, Philippines.
