Philippine superstar Nora Aunor has brought another honor to the country after winning the best lead actress award in a foreign language film at the Saint Tropez International Film Festival in France on Saturday (Sunday in Manila).
The movie tells the story of Mara (Aunor), a woman suffering from dementia, and her niece, Rachel (Curtis-Smith), as they stay in an ancestral home in the province.
Her movie “Dementia” also won best foreign language film.
Director Perci Intalan immediately took to his Instagram account to share a picture of him holding the trophies.
In the caption, he wrote: “Thank you #StTropezIFF!!! Congratulations Team Dementia and Ms. Nora Aunor!!! And THANK YOU GOD FOR THESE WONDERFUL BLESSINGS!!!!! #DementiaMovie #MabuhayAngPelikulangPilipino”
