The Philippine Embassy in Bangkok conducted a consular outreach mission for Filipinos in Rayong Province, Thailand on February 19, 2022.
The consular team provided a range of consular services, including passport renewals, extension of passport validity, legalization services, civil registration, processing of applications for Certificate of Legal Capacity to Contract Marriage (CLCCM), and solemnization of marriage. The consular team also released passports and issued Embassy Identity Cards.
In compliance with the prevailing public health guidelines of the Thai government for public gatherings, the Embassy implemented an appointment system, observed physical distancing among the Embassy personnel and applicants, and enforced mandatory wearing of face masks at the venue.
Rayong is a city on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand and the capital of Rayong Province. Most Filipinos in the region are employed in the education sector.
