To honor and recognize outstanding Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), together with the Philippine Embassy in Thailand invites individuals to nominate outstanding OFWs who has become icons and symbols of hard work, dedication and perseverance in the 2025 edition of the Bagong Bayani Awards.
If you are an active OFW, whether land or sea-based, no past or present criminal or derogatory record, with good moral standing, has received recognition from past or present employers for exemplary behaviour or outstanding service, among others, you may be the one the DMW is looking for.
Individuals must complete the nomination form, together with supporting documents to the BBFI office. Hurry as the deadline for submission of nominations is until June 30, 2025. Awarding will be on November 21, 2025.
