Philippine Embassy Opens Photo Exhibit

To promote the Department of Tourism’s campaign, “Visit the Philippines 2015”, the Philippine Embassy in the Kingdom of Thailand has opened a photo exhibit at the Amphitheatre, Zen Central World, Bangkok on April 8, 2015.

The exhibit features different tourist destinations and a peek on the Filipino culture. The public viewing for the said exhibit has already started on April 8 upon its launching and will end on May 25, 2015. It is open from 10:00 in the morning to 10:00 in the evening.

The opening ceremony was attended by Ambassador Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia, Philippine Ambassador to Thailand, Central World officials, dignitaries from other countries, embassy officials and some members of the Filipino community in Thailand.

Often tagged as the “Pearl of the Orient Seas”, the exhibit also aims to bring other nationalities closer to the Philippines to boost tourist arrivals in the country.
