The Sports Industry Awards (SPIA) Asia has named the Philippine Southeast Asia Games Organizing Committee (PHISGOC) as the Best SEA Games organizer at SPIA Asia Awards in Grand Hyatt Manila, December 3.
SPIA CEO Eric Gottschalk handed the award to PHISGOC chairman Alan Peter Cayetano and PHISGOC chief operating officer Ramon Suzara during a conference held in Grand Hyatt Hotel, Manila Bulletin reported.
“Thank you Sports Industry Awards (SPIA) Asia for awarding the 30th South East Asian Games as the best SEAG organizer. The awarding was held during the SPIA conference held yesterday, December 3 at Grand Hyatt Manila. It was an honor to be joined by CEO of SPIA Eric Gottschalk, Rep. Abraham Tolentino (POC Chair), PHISGOC COO Ramon Suzara, International Football Legend Ronaldo Nazario and USA Track and Field Olympian Dr. Edwin Moses,” said Cayetano on his Facebook post.
SPIA Asia Awards is an award-giving body in Asia that focuses on recognizing and celebrating the achievements of the Asian sports industry for the past years.
