Her Excellency Ambassador Mary Jo A. Bernardo-Aragon has joined senior government officials, top business executives and non-profit organization representatives from all over Southeast Asia at ASEAN Business Forum 2015 currently being held at Plaza Athenee in Bangkok.
This year’s forum with the theme “Creating Value through ASEAN Connectivity” will run for two days, October 14-15, 2015. It is the sixth of a series that started back in 2009 which aims to bring together regional and global executives to discuss key issues and to promote mutual understanding and cooperation within the region.
Thai senior government officials present were Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak who delivered a keynote address on “Leveraging Economic Growth through Connectivity” and Minister of Transport Mr. Arkhom Termpittayapaisith who talked about “ASEAN Physical Connectivity: A Key to Regional Integration”.
Approximately 500 participants were expected to join the ASEAN Business Forum 2015.
It is organized by the Board of Trade of Thailand and Thailand Management Association (TMA).
