Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago has called on her fans and supporters to be present at U.P. Bahay ng Alumni for another “meet and greet” session on Monday.

The senator on Tuesday announced her intention to run for president in the 2016 elections. She made the announcement in a press conference following a book signing event of her book, “Stupid is ForeverMore”.

Santiago is likened to a rockstar in social media with millions of fans and followers. Her Facebook page has over 3.1 million likes and more than two million Twitter followers.
