PHL Embassy in Bangkok calls for entries for “Mga Kwentong Pagkain”

The Philippine Embassy in Thailand (Bangkok PE) is inviting the Filipino community to join the annual Mama Sita Foundation “Mga Kwentong Pagkain” competition.

“Mga Kwentong Pagkain”, as the Bangkok Philippine Embassy writes it, is an “annual contest of Mama Sita Foundation [that is] open to anyone willing to tell an interesting story about food-detailed accounts of local or regional recipes, ingredients, food preparation, rituals or personal experiences – anything that can further promote awareness and appreciation for Philippine cuisine.” The said competition believes that “overseas Filipinos have their own stories to share and encourages them to join the competition.”
