On July 1 all government and private schools all over the country have opened after almost four months of being locked down due to the coronavirus pandemic. Government has also implemented precautionary measures to contain the spread of the virus which has so far been successful as compared to many other countries like the Philippines.
So here are some photos of kababayan teaching in several schools in Thailand adapting the ‘new normal’.
Thai-Singapore International School
This international school in Samut Prakan is founded and owned by a Filipina educator and her family. They employ 160 Filipinos at TSIS. While the semester is about to end for international schools, TSIS has reopened its doors to students.

Teacher Ona at Mathayom Taksin Rayong School
Her school divided the students into two groups. The first group studies in the class while the other group is online. They switch the group every other day in order to meet all the students. The are around 100 Filipino teachers in the whole Taksin School in Rayong.
