Pinay Actress bags ‘Best New Performer’at Hongkong Film Awards

Filipina Actress Crisel Casunji was awarded the Best New Performer in her role as a domestic worker in the movie “Still Human” during the 38th Hong Kong Film Awards held on on Sunday April 14 at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Cansuji in her acceptance speech said,”It seems to tell the world that in Hong Kong, when we celebrate our diversity, we move forward together.
Thank you to all the women who bravely shared with me their stories. Kayo ay mga bagong bayani. You are modern heroes. Ang karangalang ito ay para sa inyo. Maraming salamat. Thank you very much.”
