Just three months after the death of her husband in the Philippines, a 34-year old Filipino is fighting for her life in Udonthani.
Kabayan Florelyn Patricio, who works as a nanny-tutor in Thailand’s northeastern province was rushed to the hospital by her Thai employer on February 23 around 5:00pm. According to her doctor, Patricio suffered from aneurysm. She remains in a critical condition in Udonthani Hospital’s intensive care unit (ICU).
She went to Thailand last year but got stranded due to COVID-19 and so she decided to work as a nanny-tutor to support her family in Calinan, Davao City. She and her late husband have a young child. She also has no relatives in Thailand. Right now she is being taken care of by her friend in the hospital.
