Filipino singers in Bangkok are coming together for Musikalayaan 2020 in commemoration of the 122nd Philippine Independence Day on June 12 at Happy Bee Filipino restaurant.
Musikalayaan 2020 is a part of Bayanihan Sessions, an online fundraising drive where Pinoy singers entertain viewers online. Funds donated are given to Filipino musicians in Bangkok who have been heavily affected by COVID-19. Entertainment establishments have been shut down by the government in an effort to contain the coronavirus.
Many of these Filipino musicians work in well-known establishments such as Hard Rock Cafe.
The said Independence Day Special will be held on Friday, June 12 from 5:00-9:00PM at Happy Bee, a Filipino restaurant located in Jim’s Lodge in Ruamrudee, Bangkok.
Ticket costs 1,000 baht with pinoy foods buffet. All proceeds will go to Filipino musicians in Bangkok.
